"My spouse Thérèse Chapdelaine was admitted to the Sercan palliative care home on January 10 last year. Due to her condition, she passed away a week later. I am writing you these words to tell you how well we have been received; eagerness, attention and respect are the words that comes to mind spontaneously.
My sons Mathieu and Maxime as well as myself would like to sincerely thank the doctors, nurses, attendants and the support staff for the great care administered to my spouse.
Also, attached to this letter are donations in support of the care home and we hope that it will help others arriving at their end of life stage for the many years to come.
