The committee has set up to solicit businesses and individuals from the region to fulfill its mandate because, to date, several private firms, federal, provincial, municipal organizations and individuals had come forward and been linked to the expansion of the Palliative Care Home through considerable donations and commitments over several years.
The Sercan Foundation therefore wishes to underline the involvement of its generous donors towards Sercan, the Sercan Palliative Care House and the Sercan Foundation, but of course also towards the community of the greater Basses Laurentides region which will benefit, thanks to their benevolence , the best possible care and support following the expansion.

Regions and Rurality Fund (FRR)
It is through the Regions and Rurality Fund (FRR) created via the bill “Partenariat 2020-2024 : Pour des municipalités et des régions encore plus fortes” that the Sercan Foundation and its Sercan Palliative Care Home were able to benefit of part of the envelope thus making it possible to support the expansion and to better adapt to changing socio-economic issues and their realities.
All of us at Sercan, as well as the entire community, would like to express our gratitude.
Cascades Inc., a local company founded in 1964, joined the Sercan Palliative Care Home expansion through a commitment spread of over five years.
To Mr. Mario Plourde, President and CEO, and Alain Lemaire, co-founder and Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors, a warm thank you from the Sercan Foundation.
The Lemaire Family Foundation, inspired by the philanthropic commitment of the three Lemaire brothers, has the mission of supporting organizations or projects in the field of health and education in Quebec.
This organization, which has worked in the community for more than 25 years, contributed at the end of a five-year agreement, in support for the expansion. THANK YOU !
Les Résidences Funéraires Goyer has been a family affair for over 50 years, spanning three generations.
Entirely from Quebec and strongly involved in the community, Résidences Funéraires Goyer has been involved in many ways with the Sercan Foundation from the start.
Firmly believing in the sustainability of the Sercan Palliative Care Home, it was without hesitation that the family made a donation through a span of over five years dedicated to this magnificent expansion.
Bain Magique, founded by the three Cotton brothers who always aim to do better and who believe in continuous improvement, generously donated to the Sercan Foundation through a five-year partnership agreement.
We are proud of this great alliance and the support shown for Sercan, the Sercan Palliative Care Home and, of course, the expansion of the palliative care home. Their community involvement is great and is to their credit.

Dr. Martine Buron, dentist graduated in 1995, has been practicing in our beautiful region since 1996.
She has supported the Sercan Foundation and the Palliative Care Home through her presence at fundraising activities for several years.
Wanting to get more involved, she decided to make a donation which, together with other generous donors, has allowed the expansion of the Sercan Palliative Care Home to be completed.
It is with gratitude that she gives back to those who have encouraged her all these years.
